Day 4

This morning I was half asleep while I was feeding Ian a bottle in bed. I opened my eyes and saw his two big blue eyes looking back at me, studying me in the most innocent way. He was in the crook of my arm so we were basically face to face.

Then tonight we were in bed, getting settled in and he leaned over multiple times and kissed me repeatedly, I felt so loved!

Day 3

So much for writing every day! I had the best intentions...

I think when it comes to spending time with my family and writing, I always choose time with my family.

Over the weekend Ian had his first allergic reaction. And hit his head on the drawer of T’s desk. So it was a busy weekend. I’m extra tired today because Ian didn’t sleep well last night.

We also had our big magnolia tree taken down today. It was really sad, but it had gotten to be so much upkeep between clearing the yard of leaves and pods, trimming every year and then all the roots. It was a hard decision, but I know we’ll be happy in the long run.

Prayer: God, please help us sleep well tonight.

- stood up against them about social media

- had a baby
