Marriage: My Three Words

Before we close this chapter and move along into the third year of our marriage, I wanted to reflect.  I was trying to think of what I could write about to honor this anniversary and decided I would pick three words that describe this past year of marriage.

Staycation

So this staycation is brought to you by the letters "A" and "C"—and yay, home ownership!  Our central air went out and, well, you know how it goes.  Considering our new purchase, rather than spend the energy and money for an away-vacation, we opted to stay in town and it was really great.  No extended periods of driving, no delayed flights, no hotels...  I really, really enjoyed waking up in my own bed and leisurely drinking a cup of coffee with nowhere to go—I highly suggest it.  These are my favorite memories:

My Verse

Bibles are like yearbooks to me.  It seems I have different ones for different seasons of life and last Sunday I went digging for my old plum ESV.

I was inspired by church family who shared their life verses on Sunday and it made me think of my verses.  Looking through pages of old highlights and scribbles, I found those verses that had meant so much to me in past years.  I decided to list them here so that I would always have them somewhere.
